Ayurveda Kapha Vata Pitta

In Ayurveda, the traditional medical system of India, the human body is believed to be made up of three basic energies or principles called doshas: vata, pitta, and kapha. People with a predominance of pitta energy are said to be intelligent, confident, and goal-oriented, but can also be prone to anger, irritability, and digestive issues. Kapha is associated with structure and stability, including the structure of the body's tissues and the stability of its fluids. It is also thought to govern growth and the immune system. People with a predominance of kapha energy are said to be calm, steady, and nurturing, but can also be prone to sluggishness, excess weight, and congestion. According to Ayurveda, each individual has a unique balance of the three doshas, and imbalances can lead to health problems. Ayurvedic practitioners use a variety of techniques, including diet, herbal remedies, and lifestyle changes, to help restore balance to the doshas and promote overall health and well-being.
