Kapha Characteristics In Ayurveda

In Ayurveda, kapha is one of the three constitutional types or doshas, which are believed to govern various physical and mental characteristics. People who are predominantly kapha are thought to have a heavy, sturdy build and are generally calm, steady, and stable in temperament. Some of the physical characteristics associated with a kapha constitution include: A tendency towards being overweight or having a larger body frame Smooth, clear, and radiant skin Thick, lustrous hair Strong, well-developed muscles Slow metabolism Low energy levels Mentally and emotionally, kapha types are often described as being easy-going, reliable, and content. They may be patient, forgiving, and slow to anger. However, they may also have a tendency towards laziness and lethargy, and may benefit from regular physical activity to maintain their energy levels. It's important to note that every person is unique and may exhibit a combination of characteristics from all three doshas. Ayurveda views each person as a unique individual, and recommends treatments and lifestyle recommendations based on their specific constitutional type.
