Pitta Subdoshas

In the Ayurvedic system of medicine, the human body is believed to be made up of three fundamental energies or "doshas" called vata, pitta, and kapha. Each person is believed to have a unique balance of these doshas, which can influence their physical and mental characteristics, as well as their overall health and well-being. Pitta is one of the three doshas, and it is associated with the element of fire. People with a predominant pitta dosha are thought to be fiery, intense, and driven, with a strong metabolism and a tendency towards heat and inflammation. They may be prone to digestive issues, such as acid reflux and ulcers, and may benefit from a diet and lifestyle that helps to balance their pitta energy. There are also subdoshas within the pitta dosha, including "sadhaka pitta," which governs the emotions and cognitive functions, and "ranjaka pitta," which is responsible for the production of red blood cells and the maintenance of the body's tissues. Imbalances in these subdoshas can manifest in various ways, such as emotional disturbances, difficulty with concentration and memory, or issues with blood production and tissue health.
