It is believed that each person has a unique balance of the three doshas, and that this balance can change over time due to various factors such as diet, lifestyle, and environmental influences. Some people may have a dominant dosha, while others may have a more balanced combination of doshas. It is not uncommon for people to have a dominant pitta dosha, or to have a combination of pitta and vata doshas.
