Kapha represents the principles of structure, stability, and cohesion. It governs processes such as growth, repair, and immunity. People with a predominantly Kapha constitution tend to be larger and more sturdy, with good stamina and a strong immune system, but may also be prone to sluggishness, congestion, and excess weight.
According to Ayurveda, maintaining balance among the doshas is important for good health. Imbalances in the doshas can lead to physical and mental health problems, and Ayurvedic treatments are designed to restore balance and promote overall well-being.
