Kapha is associated with structure, stability, and lubrication in the body. It is thought to be responsible for maintaining the structure of the body, including the bones and tissues, as well as providing lubrication for joints and organs. People with a predominant kapha constitution are said to be solid, stable, and calm, but can also be prone to lethargy and weight gain.
According to Ayurveda, each person has a unique combination of these three doshas, and imbalances in any of them can lead to physical and mental health problems. Ayurvedic practitioners use various techniques, including diet, herbs, and lifestyle recommendations, to help balance the doshas and promote overall health and well-being.
